Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Hemsley Endowed Scholarship

The Hugh Hemsley Scholarship is awarded to a third or fourth year MD student, who has indicated an interest in emergency medicine, has had experience as a first responder (EMT, Police Officer, Firefighter; Volunteer or Paid) in the past 5 years, and is in good academic standing. Applicants must present documentation of his/her experience and/or provide a brief essay of 250 words or less describing his/her experience as a first responder.
