Macon & Joan Brock Opportunity Scholarship

The Macon & Joan Brock Opportunity Scholarship will be awarded to first year medical students enrolled at EVMS who have demonstrated one or more of the following criteria; financial need, academic merit, an interest in serving underserved communities and/or has faced challenging social, economic, educational, cultural, or other life circumstances and has participated in an EVMS pathway program. Preference will be given to students domiciled in Virginia, with ties to Hampton Roads, or to those who demonstrate intent to practice medicine in Hampton Roads or Virginia upon completion of residency/fellowship.
