The Rural Family Medicine Scholarship

The Rural Family Medicine Scholarship is awarded to a first-year medical student who is a resident of Virginia, with an interest in practicing family and community medicine in a rural community, as defined by Isserman standards, who demonstrates financial need. Should no applicants meet these restrictions, a second or third-year medical student may be considered.
