American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin - HR

The Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to a first-year MD student of Indian origin endorsed by the AAPI-HR Executive Committee. Should no student meet the primary criteria, the scholarship may awarded according to the following criteria, listed in preferential order: 1) first-year MD student who graduated from a Virginia high school or Virginia college; 2) a first-year MD student from the United States; 3) a second-year MD student from the Hampton Roads area who graduated from a high school or college from the area; 4) a second-year MD student who graduated from a Virginia high school or Virginia college, or 5) a second-year MD student from the United States.
